Our Work

Advantages our company offers

We are members of the European Producers’ Club, the Estonian Film Production Cluster, the Latvian Film Producers' Association as well as the Baltic Film & Creative Tech Cluster.

Nafta Films is the only company with the capability of applying for both minority co-production funding as well as for all rebates available in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
PRODUCTION SERVICES

Versatile possibilities in production service

Our region has some key bonuses for film productions from all over the world: short distances and low population density make it easy to shoot up to 4 different locations per day — permits and road blockings are easy to negotiate; and most business and homeowners readily welcome film crews into their properties. In general, the costs of production services in the Baltic States are 30% less expensive than in most European countries.

As most Northern European countries, we have a wide variety of locations, crew, equipment and cast available, but at a fraction of our neighbours' costs. Baltic crews and equipment are also the most cost-effective way of shooting in Finland.
REGIONAL PRESENCE

Funding Opportunities

Minority Co-Production funding is available in all three of the Baltic countries with deadlines varying, making it easy to find the one that works best for your project timeline.

Applications can be made throughout the year to receive a cash rebate of up to 50% on all eligible production costs with the added possibility of combining different rebates across the region.
